Cadets Return from Florida with No.1 Spot
There's a shake-up at the top this week, as the Cadets overtake the Eagles with a strong road win over a nationally-ranked Florida program. Against one of the best opponents anyone in MSP's rankings will face outside the region this season, St. John's put together a strong team win over West Boca. The Gonzaga Eagles took care of their business as well, winning handily over Archbishop Carroll. The quality win down south was enough to move Coach Byrd's squad ahead of Coach Trivers' squad.
Thankfully for all of us, the season won't end until these two teams play each other (for like, the 105th time).
MSP graduated one of the area’s strongest senior classes, opening the door for what could be the deepest race in years. MSP returns one of the region’s best pitching staffs. MSP continues to set the standard among Maryland public schools.
