No. 1 DeMatha (6-1) — 35-0 over No. 11 Good Counsel (3-4)

DeMatha jumped out to a 21-0 first-quarter lead and never looked back in Landover. Junior WR Chace Irvin hauled in a phenomenal one-handed, 15-yard touchdown catch before taking a Tristan Sabb pass 90 yards down the sideline for another score to lead the Stags’ offensive attack.

No. 2 St. John’s (5-1) — Idle

No. 3 Gonzaga (6-1) — 38-6 over No. 7 McNamara (5-2)

Gonzaga controlled this one from start to finish on both sides of the ball. Four-star prospects Derrick Dockery and Patrick Shime dominated the edges for the Eagles, each recording multiple sacks and tackles for loss.

No. 4 Quince Orchard (6-0) — 9-0 over No. 6 Sherwood (5-1)

After combining for nine touchdowns in last year’s thriller, neither team found the end zone in the 2026 rematch. Junior kicker Seth Rubin accounted for all the scoring, converting three field goals to lead the Cougars to a hard-fought road victory.

No. 5 Wise (5-0) — 46-21 over Eleanor Roosevelt (2-4)

Junior RB Les Williams averaged more than nine yards per carry and rushed for two touchdowns to lead Wise. Jaden Colarusso and Jacorey Harris added touchdown receptions as the Pumas continued their impressive season and maintained their spot in the top five.

No. 8 Eastern (5-1) — 20-12 over Theodore Roosevelt (4-2)

After falling behind 12-6, Eastern rallied after halftime with 14 unanswered points to secure the victory. Senior ATH Brandon Austin scored twice, while Kyron Gaskins recorded seven tackles, including three for loss, to help the Ramblers shut down Roosevelt in the second half.

No. 10 Madison (5-1) — 20-6 over No. 9 Westfield (5-1)

Madison has surrendered fewer than seven points per game during its five-game winning streak, and Westfield was the latest victim. The Bulldogs entered with a five-game winning streak of their own and had scored at least 35 points in every game this season—until Friday. QB Lucas Vacalfor rushed for a touchdown and connected with TE Harry Lewis on a 15-yard scoring strike as the Warhawks continued their dominant defensive run.

No. 12 Churchill (5-1) — 35-0 over Gaithersburg (2-4)

The Bulldogs and QB Hunter Humphries got back on track with a dominant home performance against the Trojans. The All-County quarterback completed 14 of 18 passes for 191 yards and four touchdowns. AJ Wiseman hauled in six passes for 105 yards and two scores, while Caleb Singer added two touchdown catches of his own.

No. 13 C.H. Flowers (4-1) — 63-0 over Bladensburg (0-6)

Cavare Durandisse made a major impact on special teams and defense, returning a punt 40 yards for a touchdown before taking an interception 78 yards to the end zone for another score in the Jaguars’ one-sided victory. Senior QB Damieon Butler delivered a perfectly thrown fade to Zamaar Imhotep for a 72-yard touchdown, providing one of the highlights of the day.

No. 14 Episcopal (5-0) — 42-0 over SSSA (3-3)

Episcopal’s defense has been relentless all season, and St. Stephen’s/St. Agnes was the latest victim. The Maroon held the Saints to minus-one yard of total offense in the shutout and have surrendered just 15 points all season. Episcopal’s 5-0 start marks its best opening to a season in eight years.

No. 15 Oakton (6-0) — 42-38 over No. 16 South Lakes (5-1)

This Game of the Week lived up to the hype, as Oakton landed the final punch at home to defeat South Lakes in a high-scoring thriller. QB Jack Martin was sensational, throwing five touchdown passes of 26, 35, 38, 43 and 44 yards. Junior WR Collin Henriques caught two touchdown passes and threw for another score as the Cougars remained the only undefeated team in the Concorde District.

No. 17 Bullis (5-1) — 27-8 over St. James (4-2)

Bullis leaned on its defense early before the offense erupted for three second-half touchdowns to secure the home victory. Junior LB Kevin Quedraogo and senior DL Tyler Wormsley led the way with 11 tackles apiece in a spectacular defensive effort by the Bulldogs.

No. 18 Suitland (6-0) — 37-0 over Bowie (2-4)

Elijah Miller was electric with the ball for Suitland, racking up 134 yards on just five touches, including a touchdown. Senior RB Anthony Coad rushed five times for 77 yards and two scores while also leading the Rams’ defense with 11 tackles, including three for loss.
