The Heights hosted fellow top-five team St. John's last week, and it was played on a sloppy field in the rain (or as sloppy as a turf field can get). On defense, they were hard to find space against, and on offense, senior forward Quinn Mitchell headed in the game-winner for the Cavs--his second game-winner of the season.
St. John's and Gonzaga continue to trade in and out of the #4 spot, and we all welcome the Walter Johnson Wildcats to the rankings.
MSP graduated one of the area’s strongest senior classes, opening the door for what could be the deepest race in years. MSP returns one of the region’s best pitching staffs. MSP continues to set the standard among Maryland public schools.
